About

Structural thinking.
Business instinct.

I design interfaces for complex enterprise products: screens with a lot of data, where people need to find a problem fast. I read a system the way an architect reads a site. First the structure, then the details.

I've run my own business and co-founded a product, so I also think about what a decision costs to build and what value it brings. For me, a good design is one the team can ship and people can use without a manual.

Strengths

How I work

Proactive

I start before everything is clear. I'd rather make a first version, look at it and fix it than wait for a perfect plan.

Activator
Responsible

If I say I'll do something, it gets done. I check my work twice, sometimes more.

Responsibility
Analytical

I need to understand how a system works before I change it. First I break it into parts, then I design.

Analytical
Clear communication

I like to explain complex things in simple words. In a team, I'm often the one who turns a long discussion into a short, clear summary.

Experience

My experience

Architecture & own business

I started my career in 2006 as an architect and interior designer and worked in this field for about ten years. Then I decided to try myself in business and started my own interior design and home decor company, with an online store that sold to customers worldwide. There I learned e-commerce, positioning and what it takes to actually sell something online.

Startup co-founder

In late 2019, my online home decor business led me to a business partnership. Together with three partners, we decided to build a B2B marketplace that helps small businesses sell to wholesale buyers. It had two user groups, handmade vendors and wholesale buyers, so I had to think about both at the same time and create a platform that would help both sides grow their business and become a convenient place to work together.

While building the product, I gradually moved into product design and worked on both the marketplace design and the marketing. I learned how to talk to users and find solutions that work for the business and for the people who use it. It was my first real experience of building a product, and later I decided to make product design my main career direction.

Enterprise IT platform

From 2025, I worked as a product designer on an enterprise IT diagnostics platform. It is a complex system where one screen has to help a specialist find a problem under time pressure. I designed several core pages. I redesigned them, moved them to a new React-based design system and reviewed key decisions with my team lead.

That's the combination I bring to a product team: systems thinking from architecture, a business view from running my own company, and understanding of users and customers from building a startup.

Passions

My passions

Interiors

I left interior design as a job, but not as a hobby. In any room, I first notice how the space is arranged, and I keep changing something at home.

Handmade

I like making things with my hands: ceramics, painting, small decor pieces for my home. It feels close to design, only slower.

Sport

Gym, squash, cycling. I don't have a favourite sport; I just need to move.

Family

Most of my free time goes to my kids and family, and to walks with my border collie. Border collies need a lot of walking, so I go out every day.

Move an outdated product to a new design system, one page at a time

Support engineers use this enterprise IT tool to investigate problems on individual devices. The interface was outdated, so the whole product is moving to a new design system, page by page. I worked on several diagnostic pages, including the system health page in this case. My main tasks were to make dense technical data easier to read and to prepare prototypes and specs for developers.

Context

Help engineers find the cause, not only see the score

An enterprise platform for monitoring work devices shows a health score for each device. Support engineers open this page to understand why the score is low. I redesigned it so they can find the cause without leaving the page.

Finding the cause took 5 steps across 2 pages

The old page showed the score and the charts, but not the cause. Engineers had to go to a separate analysis screen, and every new check started from scratch.

Two types of engineers, two different needs

  • Tier 2 needs a quick answer: “Is something wrong, and can I fix it myself?”
  • Tier 3 gets escalated cases and checks several possible causes one by one.

Project brief

Move an old timeline to the new design system, and fix the flow where we can

This is another page of the same enterprise IT tool that support engineers use to investigate problems on single devices. The whole product is moving to a new design system, page by page. The main goal was the new design system, but we also improved the flow wherever it didn’t need big backend changes. I worked on it from discovery to handoff and reviewed key decisions with the design lead and the product manager.

Context

Show what happened on a device, in one place

When a device crashes or slows down, engineers need to see errors, system changes and performance alerts in time order. The timeline page puts them on one chart, with a table of records below. Engineers use it to find the cause and, on Windows, to roll the device back to an earlier restore point.

One chart, five data types and two different click results

The chart was overloaded, and it was not clearly connected to the table below it. The main action, restoring the system to an earlier point, was hard to find.

The same engineers, different data on each platform

Engineers checking Windows devices

They see all five data types and can roll the device back. They need a fast path from the cause to the restore action.

Engineers checking macOS devices

They get less data and no restore points. They need to understand quickly why a track is empty.

Let customers add their own data to the platform

This is a new part of the same enterprise IT tool, in its configuration area. The platform could already export data to other systems. Customers asked for the other direction too. There were no existing screens to start from. I worked on it as an early-to-mid-level product designer: the design work was mine, and I checked key decisions and hypotheses with my team lead.

Context

Device data without business context

The platform collects technical data from company computers, like system health, crashes and resource usage. IT teams could see that a machine was slow. They couldn’t see which department or office it belonged to, who used it or when its warranty ended. Companies keep this information in their own CMDB, HR and asset tools.

No way to bring this data into the product

The platform could export data but couldn’t import it. IT teams matched the data in spreadsheets or paid for custom database scripts. They needed a simple tool inside the product to upload their data without code.

Two groups of people, one set of data

Admins who set up the data

They export data from company tools and set up the import. They know IT well but aren’t database engineers, so they need a clear interface to check the data and fix errors without code.

Teams who use the data

IT support and operations teams filter devices by department, office or priority. This lets them look into incidents with business context.

Key tasks

Four main tasks for the design

01

A step-by-step flow

The admin goes through the steps in a fixed order: choose the data category (Device or User), upload the file, choose the system identifier and check the columns. Only then the data goes to the backend.

02

Data types and setup before import

The system reads the CSV columns. The admin can change the data type (String, Integer, Boolean, Date), set the maximum length for text fields and check the first 10 rows.

03

Clear errors, because data can’t be edited later

After import, the data goes straight into report tables and can’t be edited there. So the checks happen before import, and each error explains why the import failed, not only that it failed.

04

Import status and history

Processing runs in the background. The import history shows the status of each import (In progress, Completed, Failed), so the admin knows when the data is ready for reports.

Information architecture & user flow

Building the structure with the Tech Lead

This was a new feature with tight backend limits. Data couldn’t be edited after upload, and processing took time. With the Tech Lead, I split the data into two types, Device and User. We also made one ID column required and listed the possible errors up front.

The happy path

The admin picks a data type, uploads a CSV and maps the ID column. Next they check the data types and preview the first 10 rows. After they confirm, the import runs in the background and they can follow its status in Import History.

Work experience

Lakeside Software Product Designer

September 2025 – October 2026
Warsaw, Poland (hybrid)

I worked on SysTrack, an endpoint monitoring platform used by enterprise IT teams. Most of my work was redesigning existing features and moving them to a new design system. I studied how IT admins use the product, what they need to get done, and how the redesign could improve their experience.

The data export and data ingestion features I designed were released, and several monitoring pages are now in development. I created user flows and prototypes, agreed on solutions with PMs and engineers in different time zones, and prepared design materials for development. I used AI tools for research synthesis, quick prototypes and comparing design options.

Fetery Co-Founder & Product Designer

January 2020 – February 2022
Poland (remote)

Together with three other founders, I built Fetery, a B2B wholesale marketplace that connects European handmade-goods vendors with retail buyers. In two years, we grew it to 500 active vendor stores and more than 30,000 wholesale products.

My focus was research and product design, from concept to MVP. I ran user interviews with vendors and wholesale buyers, usability tests and competitor analysis, and used the results in product and go-to-market decisions. I defined the platform concept, built the first interactive prototype, created user flows and wireframes, and shaped the design and brand together with our UX/UI designer. I also ran marketing.

Earlier experience

  • Eco Deer, founder of a handmade home decor business that sold on Etsy and Shopify. 5,000+ products delivered. 2011 – 2022
  • Archimatika, architect on large residential and office projects, Kyiv. 2008 – 2014
